The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation payment award rates for 2012 have been increased. The OhioBWC pays compensation based on the Full Weekly Wage (FWW) and Average Weekly Wage (AWW) earned by an injured worker for the one (1) year period prior to the the date of injury. As I review Bureau of Workers’ Compensation orders pertaining to Permanent Partial Disability Awards (PPD), I am amazed at how many orders are granting a ZERO percent impairment rating. Zero percent means the injured worker gets zero compensation for the injury sustained at work.
Trying to settle your Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Claim – if so, the BWC seems to be ‘anti-injured worker’ in reducing its indemnity and settlement payments.
